In all fairness, nobody really wanted to go out tonight. It was dark, cold and very windy. But I have to admit the walk around the Great Notley Discovery centre grounds in the dark, surrounded by parents with children being entertained by people/actors dressed in Halloween themed costumes was really really good. What with Daleks, Ghouls, Ghosts, Witches, Condemned Prisoners, Grave yard diggers, Jack the Ripper, Pirates, Jack in the Box, Frankenstein, Spiders and more… the night was well worth the visit and the £5 entrance fee. Whether I am at work or at home the British weather looks bright and shall I say normal for once. In fact it was an ambulance which was called to a minor incident at the office today. Poor old Henry’s back gave way and we had to find help getting him off his chair and home.
